For groups over 10 people, download and fill out the special Groups Booking Form and email it to us at [email protected] - What is a preview, and how do I know which performances are previews?
Previews are a set of performances before the official opening. The purpose of previews is to allow the director, cast and crew to run the show in front of an audience to identify opportunities for improvement and to make adjustments to the production so it is the best it can be. Often there will be changes made during previews. Sometimes there may be a stop in the show, but this happens quite rarely. For these reasons, tickets to previews are offered at a reduced price. All Act 2 Season Ticket preview prices are $44. All Mini Package preview prices are $46.
Preview performance dates are listed on the individual production pages on the website and the calendar.
- Who is the primary subscriber and who is a co-subscriber?
The primary subscriber is the person who makes the original payment. For example if Mary and John subscribe together and Mary’s credit card is provided for payment, we are obliged to complete the order with Mary as the primary and John as co-subscriber. Both parties receive the same entitlements and benefits, but only Mary’s account will hold the ability to exchange online.
- How do I exchange my tickets?
If you are the primary subscriber you can exchange online via your My STC account, by email to [email protected] or by calling Box Office (02) 9250 1777. Please include Ticket Numbers in all requests.
If you are a co-subscriber you may still exchange tickets independently providing you have the ticket(s) in your possession. You can do this either in person or by calling STC Box Office from Fri 30 Apr, (02) 9250 1777.
2021 Act 2 Season Ticket Holders can exchange their tickets from Fri 30 Apr.
- Why do I have to tell STC who I'm bringing? What if I want to bring different people each time?
If we know who is seeing each play we can ensure everyone receives their correct entitlements and benefits, and are notified of any performance updates.
If your guest is seeing 4 or more plays, they become your co-subscriber and will also be a Season Ticket Holder.
If you have multiple guests attending less than 4 plays with you, they are an additional ticket holder and are not considered Season Ticket Holders.
- What if a group want to pay separately but sit together?
If you wish to do this you will need to complete a booking form for each credit card holder and email them together to [email protected]. Please include clear notes on your seating preferences and staff will do their utmost to meet these requests. If we receive your forms separately we cannot guarantee that we will be able to sit you together.
- What safety procedures do you have in place at your theatres?
STC is a registered COVID Safe business. We are following strict NSW Government guidelines to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff. The situation is constantly evolving and safety measures may change before your performance. Please check the most up-to-date Visitor Safety Measures prior to your visit.
- I received a credit voucher for cancelled plays in 2020. Can I use my voucher to book a package?
Yes. Your credit voucher is valid for 3 years for any STC production. To redeem your voucher on our website, type in the voucher number on the Review & Pay page when making your booking. You can use as many credit vouchers as you like in the same booking.
NB. You cannot use PayPal and a credit voucher in the same booking. Please pay by credit card if you'd like to redeem a credit voucher.
- I WAS A 2020 SEASON TICKET HOLDER – DO I GET PRIORITY BOOKING ACCESS FOR ACT 2 SEASON TICKETS?
Yes, if you were a Season Ticket Holder in 2020 but didn’t renew with us for 2021 Act 1, you have retained priority booking access to 2021 Act 2.
If you do not book for either Act 1 or Act 2 in 2021, you will not have access to the Priority Booking Period the following year that you return.
